I've been in KOREA for 6 weeks!!

hello everyone!! this has been a very good week. ive learned a lot from being here! so the week started off really good with FHE we had one family there they are so amazing we played games and then ate food! they had boiled potatoes just as a snack!! Awesome right!! haha korea is great! there was a lot of food! Tuesday we had a lunch appointment with a menber. Sister Kim Doknam she is the most amazing woman ever!! she fed us really good food and loves to sing she sang us a song just as we were eating lunch! it was great then we talked about her sonversion story adn how her husband was inactive for like 20 years adn the whole time she went to church on her own wioht her two twin boys. And now she has a lot of time so she gets so study the gospel a lot. she showed us one of the ways she studied... wait for it because its so cool!!!!.... she hand wrote the entire book of mormon (in Korean)!!!!! she has like 5 huge notbooks that she wrot e down all of it! It took her 2 years to finish but she did it!! cool right! now she wants to start on the new testament!! i love this woman what an inspiring person i would never do that but its awesomne that she was able to do that fo rher study! after we met with her we went to the church to have interviews wiht president barrow. that was so amaxzing he is a very amazing man i was able to learn so much from him. He was able to helo me so much. after that we had english class that was fun when we were supposed to start there was only one person there and his enlish was already perfect! but then one sister showed up adn was going to just get the paper adn leave because nopone was there but then another person came so she decided to stay then one more person cane so we had 4 students and 4 missionaries! haha there wasnt that many people becasue it was raining really hard! darn! but after that we were able to have a lesson with sister kim surgee and answer the questions she had about the book of mormon. she read all the way to chapter 8!! she is so amazing! Wednesday we had study adn met the lee family that we teach english to with the boy the girl and the dad,. we only taught english to the boy because the girl doesnt like us anymore! oops but we had the elders there an dit was a really fun lesson we played games and then shared the restoration with them the dad wasnt open to very much of it but the boy was very happy when we gave to book of mormon to him he was looking though it like it was christmas!! it was so cute!  then we walked home in the rain adn talked to people. we met to older ladies that were budist btu one had a son that might come to english class!1 yay Thurday we had sevice that is still stressfull becasue i cant understand if they wasnt more food or less but i survived. after we ate the food it was good again so i was happy! i tried crab for the first time! then we met with Kim surgee and a member to teach her the importance of the restoration adn why it was needed. it was a really good lesson she is so accepting of the gospel and of all the things we teach her. i really hope that she can continue learning! then we had a dinner apointment with the branch presidents wife with the elders that was a really good dinner we had a lot of fun adn were abel to help her see the importance of service. it was a good time! today was also tranfer call night... im staying in my area with sister hurley! YAY!!!! Firday we had to appointments planned but one fell though so we just had one with Sister Kang yangme she is so funny she likes to talk adn talked to us about how to be a good parent. i learned a lot form her but it was a hard lesson becasue anytime we tried to bring in the lesson she would just say that she wanted to take us to the beach or change the topic. but we will only met her one more time because the area she lives in is getting new sisters this transfer so we will give her to them. after we met with her we came home and  deep cleaned our house. Saturday we had a lesson with Sister Go yoomeen the collage student( her friend couldnt come) but it was a really good lesson we had a member there that was ale to help expalin the questions she had and help us with the lesson. THis member is really awesome His name is Joseph he lived in america for a long time so his english is really good. he actually feels betterspaking english than korean! haha but we taught anout the plan of salvation and were able to get through all of it because she had questions about the rest so we were able to help her with that. she is progressing so good.
